A year and a half ago I up and left a corner office corporate position to pursue my passion for the arts. It was not an easy decision, but one that needed to be made for my sanity and happiness in this ONE life I have to live. All too often people get caught up in chasing money or for that next big thing to buy or promotion to get, but at the end of the day that’s not what it’s all about. As the great Buddhist philosopher, Alan Watts once put it:

“We thought of life by analogy with a journey, a pilgrimage, which had a serious purpose at the end, and the thing was to get to that end, success or whatever it is, maybe heaven after you’re dead. But we missed the point the whole way along. It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing or to dance while the music was being played”

Live for every day people, chase your dreams, find your passions, don’t worry about the money - live your fullest truth.
