Grenache is one of the wine world’s unsung heroes. It’s the main variety in most Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, the key to the rising star of Spain, Priorat, as well as a key component of many Riojas.

But as well as the fine wines, it also produces some of the most enjoyable, pleasure-filled wines of Southern France, makes a range of ros­é styles and has even become one of the most popular wines in Australia where there has been a trend for making grenache in a more pinot-noir style.

Join Anna Spooner as she takes members through three exciting styles of grenache-based wines from around the world in event ideal for novices or even those less familiar with this less trumpeted variety.
