Made with cassava/yuca this is a favorite snack or dessert of the carribbean. This is the Guyanese version.

Ingredients needed:
2 and 1/2 cup grated cassava/yuca
1 and 1/2 cup of grated coconut
1 and 1/4 cup of carnation milk ( you may need more or less depending on the consistency of your batter)
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp grated ginger
1tbs cinnamon powder
1 tsp grated nutmeg
1 tsp of vanilla essence
2 tbs melted butter
1/4 tsp of salt
Addition 1 tbs of butter to put on top of batter

Bake at 375 degree for about 1 hr or until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
