FRESH COLESLAW no mayo || JAMAICAN COLESLAW RECIPE

Hi there! I wanted to share my simple recipe for FRESH Coleslaw Jamaican style. We love to have this with our Sunday dinners and its a popular addition to the Jamaican "box lunch" you can get at our cook shops. It has a fresh, tangy and sweet flavour and is so tasty as is but sometimes we do add mayonnaise to make a creamy coleslaw. Let me know if you've ever had it and how you like the recipe.

TIP:
Soak the shredded cabbage in salt water before making the slaw. That will draw out some of the moisture giving it the perfect crunchy texture and better flavour.
