1. Establish your key center
2. Find the 1, 4, 5 notes of the scale from the key center. These are the roots of each chord you'll use.
3.Try out the shuffle rhythm with 1, 4, and 5.
4. Find the chords for the 1, 4, & 5 notes by skipping within the key center scale.
Ex: What's the right D chord for G Major? D (skip E) F# (skip G) A -- so D F# and A (Why F#? Because it's part of G Major scale!)
5. Now try those arpeggios with your newly found chords!
