Ardbeg Heavy Vapours Review - 2023 Committee Release Vs. the Ten Year - How Important is a Purifier?

2023's Ardbeg Committee Release is the Heavy Vapours. Ardbeg is one of a few distilleries in Scotland using a purifier - which blocks the heavier vapors distilled from the distill from reaching the resulting spirit. This 50.2% Non Age Statement release was distilled without the use of the Ardbeg purifier. In this video, I'll go over what makes this bottle special, taste it, compare it to the core Ten Year, and give my review in the context of the Heavy Vapours's inflated price.
