an August weekend in the UK | hiking, paddleboarding, wild swimming.. and a giant lily?!

hi, welcome to my channel, growing glowing & going ✨ we’re heading towards the end of summer in the UK and we haven’t had the best of weather, so I’m taking every chance I get to spend time outside when the sun is shining!

This week I spend time with my mum’s chihuahua, both on land and on water, hang out in our jungle back yard, then go hiking and wild swimming in the Peak District.

This is the hike we did which includes the mermaid’s pool and Kinder Scout, but I would say ignore the part where it says to take the left-hand lesser-walked path after the two gates - I think this is where we went wrong: https://www.getlostmountaineering.co....

Oh, and my giant lily has finally flowered which of course I’m absolutely buzzing about!
