Bizu Dance by BCSA at Northeast Fest 2025; On November 9, 2025, the Bengaluru Chakma Students’ Association (BCSA) beautifully showcased the traditional Bizu Dance at the Northeast Fest 2025, organized by the Northeast United Forum and hosted at St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru. The performance by the Chakma students reflected the vibrant heritage and cultural richness of the Chakma community while embodying the unity in diversity that represents the spirit of Northeast India.

The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma (Chairman, TIPRA Motha Party, Tripura), James P.K. Sangma (Chairman, Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation), and Daniel Langthasa (Former Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, Assam). Their participation added great significance and encouragement to the performers and audience alike.
Such cultural celebrations continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship, harmony, and shared identity among the diverse communities of the Northeast.
