Peter shows you the standard way of trapping errors -- then see the information that vbWatchdog can provide including line numbering that automatically updates as edits are made, and
function names that appear in error dialogs that also reflect any name changes.

In the error dialog we can see the callstack of routines that were passed through to reach an error and values of variables that are in scope when an error occurs.

vbWatchdog processes every error and gives you a way to log all the information, as well as display on the error dialogs. All values relating to errors are accessible in VBA.

You can set up the error handling to have different messages for developers, or users, just by changing one value.

If the standard look of the error dialogs are not acceptable, a custom form can be used to display the error message.

The code demonstrated is based on code that you can download -- so you can use all the features that were shown, and can start using vbWatchdog with a few clicks.
