We are preparing to go out for a long travel day and need some cheap meals and snacks. I have already made some things for freezer prep which makes life so much easier. Delicious recipes to come...

We also had some more healthy options that did not require prep...

Recipes:

Tuna Pasta Salad:
1 LB (bowtie) pasta
2 cans tuna in water
8 boiled eggs
mayo
yellow mustard
dill pickle juice
black olives sliced
salt
pepper


Snickerdoodle Cookies:
lil luna’s snickerdoodle recipe

form into balls
chill for at least an hour
put on parchment lines cookie sheet
squish down flat
bake at 350* for 15 ish minutes


Ginger Ale Syrup:
water
1 C Ginger root
sugar
brown sugar


Iced Tea:
12 bags black tea
4 C water boiling
3/4 C sugar
12 C water cold

boil water
turn off heat
add tea bags
steep for 5+ minutes
fill jug with cold water
add sugar to warm tea
pour steeped tea in jug
cool and enjoy for 3 ish days

*best kept in glass
**prone to molding
