2021 season’s greetings from IARC

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has published a new video to thank our partners for their support, draw a line under 2021, and welcome 2022.
The global burden of cancer is growing. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused setbacks to cancer prevention activities. Despite this, we at IARC have more confidence than ever before in our ability to prevent cancer cases and save lives through cancer research that matters. Up to 50% of all cancers can be prevented.
We thank our partners, collaborators, and friends for their support. We hope to see you soon to continue our research and bring about a world where fewer people develop cancer.
