Chojñita is a very playful bear. All day long she spends time playing. Everything is a toy for her, but above all she likes to play with leaves and water. So leaves in the water is a perfect combination for her to have fun.
Chojñita was about 3 months old when she arrived at La Senda Verde. Her mom was killed in illegal trafficking activities and she was rescued by the police. She was weak and malnourished and she was suffering from health issues: she was infested with the Jigger flea (a parasitic insect that affects the skin). She was also very strong, and thanks to the dedication and hard work of the vets and the volunteers, she quickly gained her health.
During my volunteer at La Senda Verde I took care of her.
