Once on the brink of extinction, the golden paintbrush is now thriving — and Pacific Rim Institute for Environmental Stewardship (PRI) is leading the charge! 🌿

In June 2023, PRI recorded one of the largest and most genetically diverse golden paintbrush populations in the North Puget Sound.

Thanks to 15+ years of collaboration with U.S. Fish & Wildlife and Ecostudies Institute — and the tireless work of PRI founding CEO Robert Pelant (DMV), PRI land steward Mosa Neis, Erin, Tyler, Adam, and countless passionate volunteers — this vibrant native wildflower has officially been removed from the endangered species list! 💪🌼
