The Kisumu Lakefront Development Corporation has initiated plans to restructure the city to face Lake Victoria, in a bid to enhance leisure tourism across the Western circuit. In a 4.1 billion shillings plan, the Kenya Urban Roads Authority will build a 26 Kilometre road across the lakeshore, with the private sector expected to set up social amenities.
