Where did 2021 go? What a strange year it's been, but Christmas is here and it's another year of our New Zealand traditions to celebrate our summer. Last year we went and got strawberry ice creams at a strawberry farm, this year we decided to take things up a notch — straight to Google and a quick pick your own strawberries Auckland search led us to Clevedon for an even better adventure!

The NZ strawberry season is in full swing, the size, colour, juiciness and taste of what we picked is a true testament to that! There's loads of strawberry farms in Auckland, so there were lots of options to pick from and the picking element of things was actually quite fun - especially on a nice day.
