If you type in the words “larynx position” or “laryngeal control for singing” or “what to do with my larynx” 🤯 into YouTube, you're going to get a wide variety of opinions on where your larynx should be when you sing.

You may not know the context that the teacher is speaking from or the style that they are referring to when they're telling you to put your larynx in any certain spot.

I've definitely been through the ringer when it comes to this question, and I've had a lot of experience of trying to adhere to certain technical rules I thought I understood.

When I found out that your laryngeal position is something that can vary and have a lot of freedom, it changed my singing life. I hope the tools and experiences I share with you in this video will offer you a framework that will set you free to explore your particular instrument to make the sounds and craft the artistry that you want to create.
