◆Train Watching◆ Two SUNRISE EXPRESS trains at the Tamachi Depot, Tokyo, Japan, May 6, 2024. The Sunrise Express, 285 series train, is the only sleeping limited express in Japan. The Sunrise Express usually runs once a day. Cars 1 to 7 are "Sunrise Izumo" from Izumoshi to Tokyo. Cars 8 to 14 are "Sunrise Seto" from Takamatsu to Tokyo. The Sunrise Izumo and the Sunrise Seto are coupled at Okayama Station. However, on a few days when there are a lot of passengers, there is an extra train. The extra train is a 7-car "Sunrise Izumo" alone. At the day, the extra train ran. Two Sunrise Express trains were seen to line up at the Tamachi depot adjacent to Takanawa Gateway Station.
