The Little Big Things: How My Life Became A Musical | Good Morning Britain

Henry Fraser’s extraordinary life so far has been turned into a West End musical and has opened to rave reviews. Andrew Lloyd Webber said ‘I’ve just had the most exciting night in a theatre for years . . . a total triumph. This tale of conquering disability . . . will be an international smash.’

The show is based on Henry’s 2017 memoir of the same name - The Little Big Things.

Henry was just 17 years old when he had a life-changing accident in Portugal in 2009. He was left paralysed from the shoulders down after diving into the sea. Henry is now 31. In 2015 he began drawing on his iPad with a stylus he held in his mouth. He then taught himself to use a pencil, and then in time paint, by fixing the utensils required to a stick attached to his mouth. Henry is also a motivational speaker which he never would have thought considering his shyness before the accident. “I hated being the centre of attention. Whereas there’s a whole musical about my life now.”
