before going over the steps, this is just additional info to consider and me yapping lol:
check out my latest video of defeating hayes w/ oddport, the el goblino placements are much better and should stun the boss with trap 5 times! i recommend you copy the el goblino placements from that vid
some steps can be adjusted to make the strat “technically” better, but that’s entirely optional, i made note of that farther down
in the vid, i kept auto-skip on the entire time. you can turn off auto-skip at wave 39 to be safe, no need to tho
sparks kilowatt can replace fracture for more range but less dps. at the beginning, upgrade a few sparks kilowatts to level 2 for detection. sparks have the same placement as fracture
scientist can also replace fracture, but it requires discount dog’s tower limit ability to comfortably beat hayes. level up beebos to level 2 at the beginning. scientist has the same placement as fracture
in this vid, fractures were maxed first then scientists, it’s more ideal to max scientists first because she deals w/ the hordes of enemies better and spectre would only need to be upgraded to level 3 by wave 25 and maxed by wave 35. i would max the towers in this order: scientist then beebo then fracture. the positions of the towers are still the same. the order isn’t a big issue as spectre’s cost debuff isn’t huge. entirely optional if you want the best mana management
discount dog’s placement limit ability is not needed if hayes gets stunned by trap at least 4 times. if you’re not confident in microing el goblino, i suggest you buy discount dog’s placement limit ability once. you will have enough mana
STEPS:
Player 1:
1. place all fractures
2. place two beebos and upgrade one to level 2
3. mana share to Player 2 until they max one voca and all lemonade cats
4. place and max a balloon pal
5. mana share to Player 2 until they max all vocas
6. place fractures by wrapping the lower half of the lake, and after a 2nd discount dog is placed, max all fractures (after placing down fractures, you can save more mana by maxing scientists before maxing fractures, optional)
7. place and max spectre by wave 25, can max a little earlier (if scientists were maxed first, you can upgrade spectre to level 4 by wave 25 and max by wave 35, optional)
8. mana share to Player 2 until they max all scientists and 4 beebos
9. place and max all beebos
10. mana share to Player 2 to max the two remaining beebos
11. place and max el goblino, check the farthest fracture’s range for el goblino placement (you can place el goblino before Player 2 sells discount dog to save more mana)
12. use spectre’s ability as soon as wave 38 ends
13. when hayes first gets stunned, use spectre’s ability, use el goblino’s crucifix ability when hayes starts moving, make sure all fractures are attacking before using crucifix
14. replace el goblinos after hayes get trapped, you need to trap hayes at least 4 times
15. use spectre’s ability asap, should be able to use it 3 times for hayes, use el goblino’s crucifix a 2nd time
16. use balloon pal when needed
Player 2:
1. place and upgrade all lemonade cats to level 3
2. place and max discount dog
3. place and max one voca and all lemonade cats
4. mana share to Player 1 until they max balloon pal
5. place and max all vocas
6. mana share to Player 1 until they max all fractures, also max another discount dog for fractures not in 1st discount dog’s range
7. place and max scientists by wrapping behind fractures, make sure she is in range of the circular end of the enemy path
8. place and max 4 beebos
9. mana share to Player 1 until they max all beebos
10. sell both discount dogs
11. place the remaining beebos and max
12. sell a lemonade cat and replace in case it is taking el goblino’s placement (you don’t need to do this, Player 1 can just place el goblino behind lemonade cat)
13. mana share the rest of the mana to Player 1
