This is Kanyakumari - The Southernmost Tip of India 🇮🇳

Welcome to the land of Kanya Kumari! Kanyakumari (also known as Cape Comorin) is a town in Kanyakumari District in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The southernmost town in mainland India, it is sometimes referred to as The Land's End. I was lucky enough to set foot on this mystic land! The place is so beautiful, surrounded by water on all the sides!

A popular tourist destination in India, it is famous for its unique ocean sunrise, sunset and moonrise, the 133 feet Thiruvalluvar Statue and Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast, and as a pilgrimage centre. Lying at the tip of peninsular India, Kanyakumari is bordered on the west, south and east, by the Laccadive Sea. It has a coastal line of 71.5 km stretched on the three sides.

This is India's Land's End, the tip of peninsular India where the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. The confluence of these three places is also referred as 'Thriveni Sangamam'.

Kanyakumari has been on my mind for several years now. Last year, I went on a solo ride to Kanyakumari to the end of the road and explored the place, and got some really cool drone shots. The feeling of riding to the Southernmost tip of India was truly out of the world!

I spent 2 days in Kanyakumari and visited various places like Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, St Thiruvalluvar Statue which is one of the highest statues in India, and many other places. Watching the sunrise over the ocean at the pier was an experience I can never forget.

This video has been shot entirely in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the best places to visit in Tamil Nadu if you ask me. Overall it was a journey that I will remember for years to come!
