This puppy was born without a tail.
And because of that. He was the only one who didn’t get adopted.
Every time someone came to pick a pup,
He watched his brothers and sisters leave.
While he stayed behind. Alone..
He started to believe something was wrong with him.
Just because he didn’t have a tail.
But one day. A man walked in and chose him. The puppy was scared.
He carefully walked up, trying to hide his back, afraid the man would change his mind.
But instead, the man gently patted him.
And said, "I love you, buddy."
From that day on, every time the man came home,
The puppy would run to him wiggling his little butt like a tail.
It became their special greeting.
He even learned to climb the stairs… backward.
It looked silly. But it was his own way of figuring things out.
The man just laughed and said, “You’re perfect just the way you are.”
They did everything together walks in the park, road trips, even playing fetch at the beach.
But sometimes.
When the puppy saw other dogs wagging their tails,
He’d look down feeling different.
Less than. That’s when the man’s wife would dress him up nicely and say—
"You’re the most handsome dog in the world."
And just like that his little smile came back.
