Hyderabad Sees Massive Infra Boost with ₹20,000 Cr Projects Underway..

Hyderabad is undergoing a major infrastructure transformation, with over 45 projects worth more than ₹20,000 crore currently in progress across the city, said Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka at the inauguration of the CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show 2026.

The ongoing works include construction of underpasses, major road widening initiatives, and multi-level flyovers at key traffic junctions. Special infrastructure packages are also being implemented in Hi-Tec City, alongside upgrades to the southern corridor and improvements in emerging growth corridors to ensure balanced development across core and peripheral areas.

Long-term initiatives such as the Blue-Green Master Plan and the Comprehensive Mobility Plan aim to promote sustainable and climate-resilient urban growth.

Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s inclusive and cosmopolitan growth legacy and noted that the government has introduced simplified, digitised approval systems and streamlined departmental clearances, including irrigation-related permissions.

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao stated that stamp and registration revenues have grown five to six times since 2014, increasing from about ₹3,000 crore to nearly ₹15,000 crore annually.

The three-day property show, running till February 8, features over 300 RERA-approved projects, offering verified residential and commercial options such as apartments, villas, plotted layouts and office spaces across established and emerging areas of Hyderabad.
