in this video i explained the circuit and basics working theory of igbt welding machine for single 1, 3 three phase china, arc inverter igbt mosfet welding machine. it receives ac voltage rectifies it into dc volatage, which pass through ntc and charge the capacitor, now low voltage power supply having SD6834 / SD6832 Current mode SMPS PWM controller converts into dc 25 voltage. which are applied to main relay, fan and further to 7815 15 volt and 7805 +5 volt regulator.
15 volt are applied to universal control card having SG3525 or TL494, SD7500 which generates 46KHz frequency to drive signal transformer. then that signal is processed through pulse forming to drive the igbt mosfet gate driver. igbt or mosfet switch the main dc voltage to high frequency power transformer. the induced voltage in secondary of the transformer are rectified through fast rectifiers and provided in output welding electrodes.
the current sense shunt is used to measure the current in the output and it is monitored at control card, and it controls the drive pule duty cycle.
the required current is adjusted and fed to pwm controller ic.

in last videos i discussed the Inverter IGBT Welder Machine (Part -3) IGBT & Gate Driver Circuit Explained & Troubleshooting sg3525 oscillator circuit provides a drive signal to the signal transformer which have two secondary windings (180 degree out of phase to each other) in each secondary there is a gate pulse forming network for igbt. igbt switches and provides power drive to the high frequency transformer takes input drive from IGBT transistors and the center tapped secondary is connected the molded D92-20 rectifier set connected in parallel. there is a shunt which is used as a current sense. the SG3525 IC provides a drive signal to the IGBT gates through gate driver network.
this china MMA-200T Inverter IGBT Welder Machine - Circuit Explained & Troubleshooting Part -1, is single phase 220 VAC operated. it have a bridge rectifier which rectifies the main ac voltage into dc voltage, which are connected to pair of dc capacitors through a relay contacts and in parallel 110 ohms ntc resistor. this nts protects from inrush current and upon receiving relay drive signal it switches the rectified voltage to capacitors so, the ntc is bypassed to get full current to drive igbt.
