Banff National Park - Egypt Lake 56km in 36 Hours

Have you even gone on an adventure and just haven't really wanted to be there? The weather, the bugs, the trail, something just doesn't feel right and you'd rather be at home. What do you do? Do you bail on the trip and go home? Well, if you're us you just cram your 3 day trip into 2 days so you can grab a burger and get home at 3 am but still get to see one of the many amazing areas Banff National Park has to offer. We don't fully experience the area on this adventure, we left many paths unexplored and sights unseen in our 56km of hiking in 36 hours. And, that's okay, it gives us an excellent reason to go back some day in the future.
