A walkthough of the Lismore castlebeat on the river Blackwater. This section of the river tends to fish better in low water conditions as the tide is just below here but a weir stops or slows the fish down. They tend to gather here. Some fish have been caught here this year but unfortunately it looks like the collapse in salmon numbers we suffered last year in Ireland has continued into this year.

In this video between myself and another angler we fished the fly, spinner and prawn. Only 1 fish sighted in a total of 20 man hours.
