Designed to improve response times and enhance situational awareness, this program reflects the Town’s commitment to forward-thinking public safety solutions. The Prosper Police Department utilizes public safety drones in two primary functions: patrol-based drone operations and Drone-First-Responders (DFR). This project was funded by grant monies from MVCPA (Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority). MVCPA’s generous grant will help us effectively increase our efforts in the area of auto theft and other related offenses.
