Sporty Sierra Sapphire which is NOT a Cosworth - Restoring and Reviewing a rare Ford Sapphire GLS

This is a rare thing… a Ford Sierra Sapphire GLS 2.0!

Marketed by Ford as ‘a sports car for the driving enthusiast’ the Sapphire GLS has always been somewhat lost in the shadow of the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, but the GLS is a very decent car and this one must be one of the best, if not the best in the country.

I started making this video over 18mths ago, when we got this car out of our barn in anticipation of a full respray… little did I know then that it would take over one and a half years to finish, but it was worth it! In this video I feature the 9 year ownership experience and rolling restoration, plus the history of the Sapphire and take it for a drive.
