This vlog took some unexpected turns. I spent the day alone, which is typical, but throughout the day I couldn't help the feeling of being lonely. As spontaneous as I am, I decided to practise my German in the McDonalds drive through and ask the person if he wanted to be my friend. As innocent as I am, I didn't know that it could mean "boyfriend". And on top of it, it was valentines day so that just made me want to bury my face even deeper in the ground. It was just a joke and luckily he went in on the joke, and he probably understood that I am a foreigner!

As you may understand, I am in a need of a social life. I have plenty of friends, but they live in other countries. So my mission is to find someone I can just spent time with in real life, nothing deep,

I know I can't complain unless I can say honestly if I have tried to do something to help with the loneliness. I have tried to do research for different social groups in the area (but couldn't find anything). So I decided to download the BFF bumble app, which is like a dating app, only with friendships instead. I don't have high hopes, but at this point I'm willing to try anything.

It has become harder for me to approach people, even co workers, because I am so introverted. And many times I feel like even though I need a friend, people may not need that. And I don't want to press on people.

Anyways. I am totally fine, this is just a part of life. Ups and downs! I take it as a learning experience, and this is something to be expected when you move out of your own country to get married to the love of your life.
