At least we can make it happened in game, this is what will happened when pokemon trainer serena anime meet pokemon ash ketchum (Ash XYZ / XYZ Ash) in pokemon sun and moon, this is not sun and moon ash (alola ash). This is kalos ash from pokemon xyz and pokemon x and y anime. Professor ted use time technology to send pokemon trainer ash ketchum to this timeline and in alola region. Pokemon XYZ Serena was in her own journey and somehow met ash in sun and moon, and thus the battle begin.
