I decided to take a last-minute trip to clear my mind and do all of my favorite activities: exploring museums and hunting for treasures in vintage stores. This trip was all about solo adventures—learning to navigate the city, enjoying meals by myself, and just soaking in my own thoughts. The plan was to head back on Sunday, but thanks to Hurricane Debby, I got an extended stay until Tuesday! While the delay was a bit annoying, it gave me the chance to explore Flushing, which turned out to be an unexpected gem. Overall, the trip was a blast, and I can't wait to go back—just not too soon!
