The Boathouse has Great Food in Disney Springs Orlando and Good Cookies at Gideon's

Disney Springs | The BoatHouse | Gideon’s Cookies | Orlando Florida

On this day we went to Disney Springs in Florida. My brother was in town with his wife and wanted to go eat at The Boathouse Restaurant. The food was amazing and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the guest service. The appetizer I loved the most was the Firecracker Shrimp (to my surprise…because I’m not a big shrimp lover). I also enjoyed the Filet Mignon sliders because they were so tender, juicy and flavorful. My main entree was the Mahi Mahi Sandwich (and my brother as well). It was so juicy, tender and flaky and tasted like a cross between chicken and tuna for me and pork white meat for my brother—just an amazing sandwich! My sister in law had the lobster roll and she loved it. My brother had the white wine and his wife sipped on the Duck Duck Razz (I hope I’m saying it correctly). It’s a cute little blue drink with a tiny rubber duck swimming in it. I had a very good and strong coffee that kept piping hot and flavorful. Then we had the audacity to stand on that long line for some Gideon’s cookies and stuff. It was brutally hot, so I suggest you place your order in advance if that’s a thing. We did standby and I will never do that again...unless, of course, there is a very short line. The cookies and ice-cream were great and my brother had some pumpkin drink that I didn’t really care for. I loved the cookie bites (even though we did not showcase them on this video).
It was a good time.
