When I Met living King|| Tour of Ahilya Fort Maheshwar

Video 35 - My friend planned a surprise trip to Maheshwar & arranged to stay in Ahilya Fort. This fort is owned & run by Holkar Family. I took a flight from Delhi to Indore. I booked my flight from MakeMyTrip for Rs 7000. I met my friend in Indore she planned the whole trip from Indore to Maheshwar by road. We booked our stay in the Ahilya fort situated on the river Narmada & a 2-hour drive from Indore. This vlog series will show my encounter with the living King Richard Holkar of Ahilya Fort. He shares some interesting facts about the Ahilya fort.

We paid Rs 22,000 for 3 people including tax. It also included 3 meals, one gala night, and a massage for all 3 of us. We got our booking directly from the Fort as they limited inventory. The best season to visit is winter so one can enjoy boating the river alongside the fort.
