The Honda City 2025 promises to renew the interest (positively or negatively) of Brazilian consumers with its restyling. Originating from the Thai project, the news arrives after the model was introduced in Brazil in 2022, signaling an early update inspired by the modifications already seen in Thailand last year.

Spotted for the first time on Brazilian soil, more specifically in the region of Campinas (SP) , the vehicle suggests some significant changes, although there is still uncertainty about the full adoption of Thai news. Expectations revolve around a wider front grille, adorned by honeycomb-type dividers, and a front bumper with a new design.

Internally, no radical changes are expected in relation to the finish. However, the introduction of Honda Sensing in more versions, as seen in the HR-V , could raise the vehicle's safety level. This package encompasses driver assistance technologies, including lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking and automatic high beam control. The version sold in Thailand already has a larger on-board computer display and new fabric options for the seats, suggesting possible updates for the Brazilian market as well.

As for the engine, the 1.5 aspirated four-cylinder engine, with direct injection, is expected to be maintained, delivering 115 hp of power and 15.2 kgfm of torque when fueled with gasoline, and 116 hp of power and 15.3 kgfm of ethanol. . The CVT transmission, which simulates seven gears, should continue to be a striking feature in both the hatchback and sedan versions of the City, both currently available with 126 hp and always coupled to the CVT automatic transmission.
