Rusty Bowie Knife Restoration, No Shortcuts.

Total original condition Bowie Knife restoration! No shortcuts!

This 1960s Bowie knife was made for Sears Craftsman by Schrade-Walden . It originally had a stacked leather handle, and the heavily heat/sun damaged bolsters are made (unfortunately) from injection molded plastic.

Lots of sandblasting, sanding, brass machining, some steel machining, buffing, sanding, polishing, leather, sanding, painting, and also some sanding in this video! I think the results are pretty amazing. Proud to have this restored knife in my tool collection now.
