Follow the 611 as she travels to the North Carolina Transportation Museum from Roanoke, Va. on 1/16/17. This trip was operated in cold and snowy conditions and upon arrival at NCTM, the 611 had to be separated from its tender to be stored in the warm roundhouse. Also on this trip, the 611 was carrying Chicago Cubs "W" flags in honor the Cubs winning the World Series a couple months prior to this trip in November 2016. One of the crew members of the 611 is an avid Cubs fan and due to the popularity of the flags on the engine, the Cubs used a video of this event in their 2017 playoff video promotion!.
