CAFE Take Two is a new video series from the Canadian Association for Equality, an education and social service charity. The “Take Two” refers to a second take on issues of gender, where we focus on men’s as well as women’s issues. We’ll talk about current events, about enduring concerns, and about our work and how you can be part of it. We’ll also combine various sorts of segments - monologues, dialogues, interviews and investigate reports. Today in Episode 5, we turn our focus on the “seduction community”, composed of young men ostensibly dedicated to learning techniques and mindsets that can improve their success with women, or game. It’s easy to deride these young men and their professional pick-up artist (or PUA) instructors. But before we sneer, we should ask why men get involved in this community. The findings of a new study may surprise you, and connect to the theme of our videos this month.
