I'm a saddle hunter and a mobile hang-and-hunt hunter. Getting higher in a tree can really be important on some hunts. I'll walk you through my journey to choosing the best climbing stick aider that suits my bow hunting style and makes me feel comfortable and safe.

I'm currently using the Skeletor climbing sticks from Tethrd – they're strong, lightweight, and super easy to set up. But the real talk today is about the aiders. I've tried a couple, including the two-step AmSteel and a tubular nylon webbing aider. I'll share why I prefer one over the other, especially regarding safety and stability – two things I never compromise on.
