HOW TO install Netflix, YouTube, etc. on an old iPad 2 or 3

** 2020 Netflix update: if you can't log in to Netflix after this fix then try hard resetting your iPad - just hold down both buttons until the iPad reboots. Once rebooted, try logging into Netflix again, hopefully you will be able to this time. Big thanks to Elaine Libunao for this solution **

This is quick and easy, just get onto the App Store, go to Purchased and find the app in there - this will enable you to install an older version of the app which will work on your old iPad 2 or 3.

You will need to have purchased/downloaded this particular app in the past using the same Apple ID in order for this to work correctly. If it hasn't been downloaded in the past, just log onto a newer iPad / iPhone (maybe a friends?) using your Apple ID, purchase/download the required app then just following the video instructions on your old device and it'll work like a dream.

The iPad used in this video is a 2nd generation edition running IOS 9.3.5.
