The Advanced 2D Animation course follows a "Project-Based Learning" journey designed to simulate a professional production pipeline.
Learning Journey Phases

• Pre-Production: Students start by developing a concept, writing a treatment/synopsis, and creating a Midterm Animatic with sound to establish story flow and timing.

• Production: This phase focuses on Character Assets, anatomy, and the 12 Principles of Animation (such as Arcs and Timing). It also integrates Hybrid 2D/3D techniques using Blender as a reference for complex scenes.

• Post-Production: The final stage involves adding Visual Effects (VFX), color correction, and sound design to complete a 30–60 second short animation.
Weekly Consistency

The curriculum is a "Road to Final Project," where every weekly workshop and bi-weekly assignment serves as a direct milestone toward the final submission. For example, a drawing workshop on "Solid Drawing" directly supports the character consistency needed for the final film.
Self-Development Outcomes

• Hard Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software like After Effects, Photoshop, and Blender, as well as technical mastery of the "Illusion of Life" through animation principles.

• Soft Skills: Students develop Project Management and Time Management skills by handling a solo production from start to finish.
