Alanis Obomsawin, one of Canada’s most distinguished filmmakers, was presented with an honorary degree from Nipissing University for her excellence in filmmaking and commitment to Truth and Reconciliation through her storytelling. She sat down with President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Kevin Wamsley, to discuss the power listening has in achieving Truth and Reconciliation and a better understanding of each other as well as the importance of living without hate.
