Since 2001, the Lincoln High School Concert Choir from Thief River Falls, Minnesota has performed a spring show to highlight social issues like diversity and humanitarianism through music, dance, art, and poetry. Led by vocal choir director Darcy Reese, this 60-minute documentary unveils the hard work and dedication that is required to become a successful choir. But more importantly, shows how the process of strengthening humanity through music is attainable. By studying diverse cultures and lifestyles, the choir creates a platform for discussion that breaks down the barriers of hate and division between races and communities and encourages a unified society filled with acceptance and respect. About the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund
In 2008, Minnesota voters passed a landmark piece of legislation — the Minnesota Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment — which provided funding to public television stations serving audiences in Minnesota.
