After hiking the Routeburn Track as a newly married couple in January 2015, we returned in December 2023, nearly nine years and two kids later, to accomplish a bucket list adventure to run the track in one day. Starting at The Divide we covered 36km, taking a few optional side-trips along the way, and finished 8 hours later at the Routeburn Shelter.
