Clay Fighter 2 [SNES] - play as Spike

Описание к видео Clay Fighter 2 [SNES] - play as Spike

This is a playthrough using Spike in the SNES game Clay Fighter 2: Judgment Clay. Read on below for more information...

Spike is Googoo's alter ego and end boss. He is an unlockable playable character.

===== HOW TO UNLOCK GOOGOO =====

On the menu screen, input the following command:

Hold [R], then press [X], [B], [B], [A], [Y], Left, [A]

If you've done it correctly then you'll hear the voice shout "Diaper!". Spike will now be available on the character select screen.

===== UNLOCK ALL BOSSES =====

Alternatively, you can unlock all the bosses at once. To do this, input the following command:

Hold [L] + [X], then press Up, Up, [Select], Up, Up, Right

If you've done it correctly then you'll hear the voice shout "We're back!". All the bosses/alter egos will now be available on the character select screen.

===== SPIKE SPECIAL MOVES =====

-- Rattle Smash: QCB + [K]
-- Yell: Tap [P] repeatedly
-- Flying Rear: QCF, UF + [K]

===== ABOUT SPIKE =====

Spike is for sure one of the best characters to use against the CPU opponents... his rattle and kicks (which he uses the rattle to spin on) have great reach and large hitboxes.

His Rattle Smash is by far his best move. The reach and priority on this is overpowered; it hits multiple times and it can be easily two-in-one'd.

His Yell seems to have a large hitbox and can also be combo'd into. It can also be very effective against opponents who jump in.

His Flying Rear has the dreaded command motion of ending with Up-Forward so some mistaken jumps will be made. This move is very much like Rainbow Mika's Flying Peach in SFA3.

===== ABOUT THE BOSSES =====

They are basically derivatives of and are considered to be the alter ego "evil counterparts" of the main characters, similar to the sub-bosses in Tekken 1 and Toshinden 3. They act as the end boss for their regular counterparts... but also for themselves (which is odd because their end bosses should naturally be the regular counterparts).

Even though the bosses have the same sprites as their regular counterparts, they play almost like entirely different characters. They are quite different in the ways of the following:

---- Most of them generally have different Basics and Special Moves.

---- Most of them have different neutral stances.

---- They have different colours.

---- They have different pre-fight poses.

---- They have different VS and Losing portrait images.

---- They have different win quotes.

---- They have their own unique endings.

===== TRIVIA =====

It is reported that two characters were omitted from the game during development:

---- Ickybod Clay - The ghoul resident of Clayland from Clay Fighter 1 was originally planned to be a playable character in the game by re-using his sprites from the prequel. His stage would be used for Tiny in the final game.

---- Lucy - a gorilla, was originally planned to be a playable character in the game, but in the final version she was replaced by Tiny at the last minute, using recycled sprites from the prequel. Link here: https://clayfighter.fandom.com/wiki/L...
