Ramlal Choudhury,best known as Ramlal is a forgotten music composer of Bollywood music in the beautiful era 1950s and 1960s.
In spite of his brilliant music carrier, he was one of the most neglected music director of hindi flim industry.He composed some ever lasting melodies. Ramlal composed everlasting songs for flims like SEHRA, HANS BAANO, GEET GAAYA PATHORON NE etc.
Ramlal started his music carrier as a Shnai and Flute player.
Producer- director V. Shantaram’s ‘Sehra' made him established as a independant music director. All the songs in Sehra become suppehit.
As bed luck would have it, after offering series of successful hits, he found himself out of the flim industry due to mechinatious of some powerful music director and--- Producer. And he did not get much chance to work in flims.
He had to lead a very tragic life in the last part of his life cycle.
The creater of such beautiful songs, Ramlal would be always remmerbered. Whatever he did was sufficint to prove his genious.
