Income Tax Officials Raid BBC Offices in New Delhi & Mumbai | 'Hope This Resolves Soon' says BBC

The Income Tax Department on Tuesday started conducting surveys at the premises of BBC in Delhi and Mumbai in connection with alleged tax evasion and irregularities.
BBC News said it was fully cooperating with the tax authorities even as the surveys triggered a war of words between the Opposition and the BJP.
This comes after BBC released a two-part documentary on PM Modi – ‘India: The Modi Question’ which focuses on PM Modi and his then state govt’s response to the 2002 Gujarat riots.
