Falling j.M/L link after medium God Slicer seems to be no longer feasible due to the change to his falling speed. The startup of God Slicer is also nerfed, plus all versions of it cause extra damage scaling. He also has less mobility after a medium/heavy Fierce God Kick in the corner. While you can super dash to continue combo midscreen after a heavy Fierce God Kick, it’s really not very rewarding.

Granted that he can do things like re-jump combos and even a Sparking ki blast loop, the stability of these combos is questionable. The hitbox interaction of his j.M feels really awkward for re-jump combos, and the combination of a low 5H hitbox and a ki blast that doesn’t send the dummy downwards creates very strict timing for his ki blast loop.

\\ I have no idea who first came up with the trick of whiffing Sparking blast after 2H, but I first saw its practical use in one of Kye’s videos (   / @kyeperson8041   ). Unfortunately the meter gain penalty makes it much less resourceful than before.
