A Simple Reversible Trick to Play More Chords on a 12 Bass Accordion - Tutorial for Removing Thirds

Описание к видео A Simple Reversible Trick to Play More Chords on a 12 Bass Accordion - Tutorial for Removing Thirds

The 12 bass piano accordion only has major chords. This is a bit of a major (haha) restriction - it might be fine for Oh Suzannah or Twinkle Twinkle, but anything else will need more chord types. But wait! Taping off the thirds in a 12 bass not only means you can easily simulate both major and minor chords with one button, it also lets you combine chords to get sus2, sus4, etc.. And on top of that, all you need are a couple of basic tools and some sticky tape, and it's completely reversible if you don't like it. What's stopping you?

Excuse the mediocre filming, terrible audio, unscripted rambling and rushed editing; I put this together very quickly to help a member of the Accordionists Forum who wanted to know what keys were best for a 12 bass.
