ഏകദേശം ഒന്നര വർഷം മുമ്പാണ് ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പി ഈ ഗാനം എഴുതി സജിതിന്‌ അയച്ചു കൊടുത്തത്‌. സാമൂഹിക മാദ്ധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ സജിതിന്റെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ കേട്ട്‌ ഇഷ്ടമായതിനാലാണ്‌, ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരാവശ്യം പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ സമ്മതിച്ചത്‌. ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പി സാധാരണ പാടിക്കൊണ്ടാണ്‌ ഗാനങ്ങളെഴുതുക. ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ഒരു രീതി അദ്ദേഹം സജിതിനെ ഫോൺ വിളിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു. അതു വരെ ഏകദേശം പതിനഞ്ചു ഗാനങ്ങൾ കംപോസ്‌ ചെയ്‌ത സജിതിന്‌ ഈ ഗാനം ഒരു വെല്ലുവിളി ആയി : കാരണം പല ട്യൂണകളും സുഖമായി ചേരുന്നു.. പിന്നെ എങ്ങനെ വേറിട്ട് നിൽക്കും. ഏകദേശം അഞ്ചു മാസത്തെ make and break നു ശേഷം ആ ഗാനത്തിനൊരു രൂപം വന്നു - ഒരു സെമിക്ലാസിക്കൽ ശൈലിയിൽ..

സുനിലാൽ ചേർത്തലയാണ്‌ ഇതിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലസംഗീതം ഡിസൈൻ ചെയ്‌തത്‌. ഗുരുവായൂർ ഗോപിയുടെ നാദസ്വരവും സുഭാഷ് ചേർത്തലയുടെ പുല്ലാങ്കുഴലും ഇതിന്റെ highlights ആണ്‌.
ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ യവനികയാണ്‌ ഇതിന്റെ ദൃശ്യാവിഷ്ക്കാരം ചെയ്തത്‌.

ഉപയോഗിച്ചു.

Kathiruppinte Nombaram is a poem written by Sreekumaran Thampi that delves on the angst of waiting for your love. The music video has the story woven around a performing artist - dancer, remembering her lover, a poet who went missing. Not a moment in her day goes without remembering him, as each moment has something from the past touching him.
