Retrograde Venus goes direct on 15 April. Mercury the planet of the mind and communications goes retrograde on 9 April staying retrograde until 3 May. Mercury can act as both the trickster and divine messenger. As the trickster we can expect the usual mix up in communications, missing objects, and machinery acting up. Be sure to back up data on computers and be clear you are on the same page as other parties in business dealings! As a messenger, where Mercury goes retrograde in our chart acts as a signpost, showing us where we need to reflect, re-assess and review.

The month kicks off with a potent and useful trine between Mars and Pluto on 5 April- use this one to advance goals and get a lot done. Venus and Saturn square twice in April which can signal jilted advances, cooled affections, or financial losses. The Full Moon is on 11 April in Libra and show where energies, emotions and events culminate in your chart and life at this time. Between the 17 and 25 we see two useful trines the first between Saturn and the Sun, and the second between Mercury and Saturn. Use these for serious subjects, study, and more detail driven tedious work- you’ll have the focus to see it through. The Sun conjuncts Uranus on the 14 and Mercury conjuncts Uranus on the 28. There could be chance events, travel, new connections or problems with machinery and communication with these. The New Moon is in Taurus on 26 April. New projects for material success and goals take off.
