The National Bonsai and Penjing Collection at the Australian National Arboretum in Canberra hosts a stunning collection of living art works, some over 100 years old.

Plants include scleranthus biflorus and uniflorus, local mosses, lomandra longifolia 'tanika', macrozamia moorei and cycas revoluta. The Japanese maple is acer palmatum ‘dissectum inabe shidare’.

A 165 million year old petrified tree stump is also on display, kindly donated by the National Dinosaur Museum, with many more rare native and imported trees across the beautiful, expansive grounds of the National Aboretum.
